SIMON COGGINS-HILL MCIAT RMaPS

I was born and bred in the “Rose of The Shires”, Northamptonshire, England and have worked as an Architectural Technologist since leaving school in 1987.

I was an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) from 1991 to 2002, becoming a fully qualified member in 2002 and was the Honorary Secretary for the Central Region between 1992-1994. I qualified as a Planning Supervisor and became a member of the Association for Project Safety (formerly the Association for Planning Supervisors) in 2000.

I have worked within many areas of architecture over the years and these have included the housing, commercial, leisure, refurbishment, medical and education sectors.

Throughout my career, my main areas of interest has always been the “Autonomous House” concept, the construction of low energy structures and the relationship between our built and natural environment.

Our environment is the most precious thing that we have, we cannot afford to lose it.

I believe that by combining technology with our professional expertise we can create an exciting built environment that can exist in harmony with our natural surroundings.
